Ingredients:
Prepare Pizza Dough:
Sugar 1 & ½ tsp
Khameer (Instant yeast) 2 & ½ tsp
Doodh (Milk) 2 Cup
Fine atta (Flour) sifted 1 & ½ Cup
Maida (All-purpose flour) sifted 1 & ½ Cup
Namak (National Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
Cooking oil 2 tsp
Lukewarm water ½ Cup
Cooking oil 1 tsp
Prepare Chicken & Cheese Filling:
Boneless chicken 150g (boiled & shredded)
National Tikka Masala 1 tbsp
Cheddar cheese grated ½ Cup or as required
Mozzarella cheese grated 1 Cup or as required
Namak (National Salt) 4 tsp or to taste
Dried oregano 1 tsp
Fresh parsley chopped 1 tbsp
Fresh basil chopped 1 tbsp
Anday ki safedi (Egg white) 1
Assembling:
Pizza sauce 3 tbsp or as required
Makhan (Butter) melted
National Lal Mirch (National Red Chilli Powder) crushed
Dried oregano
Makhan (Butter) melted
Directions
Prepare Pizza Dough:
In a small jug, add sugar, instant yeast, and milk, and whisk well.
Cover and let it rest for 4-5 minutes.
In a bowl, add fine flour, all-purpose flour, and salt and mix well.
Add cooking oil and mix well until it crumbles.
Add yeast mixture and mix well.
Gradually add lukewarm water and knead until dough is formed, grease dough with cooking oil, cover, and let it rest
for 1 & ½ hours (in a warm place).
Prepare Chicken and Cheese Filling:
In a bowl, add chicken, and National Tikka Masala and mix well.
Add cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, National Salt, dried oregano, fresh parsley, fresh basil leaves, and egg white, mix well & set aside.
Sprinkle dry flour and knead the dough again until smooth (2-3 minutes), sprinkle dry flour, and roll out in a rectangle
shape (12 x 18 inches) with the help rolling pin.
Assembling:
On one half of the dough, add and spread pizza sauce, add prepared chicken and cheese filling, and press gently.
Now cut the dough, flip over the filling and cut into 1-inch thick strips.
Now press a wooden skewer on each strip and twist gently.
Place all twisted strips on a baking tray lined with butter раper.
Brush melted butter, sprinkle National Red Chilli Powder, and dried oregano (makes 13-14).
Bake in preheated oven at 200C for 12 minutes (on both grills).
After baking, apply melted butter.
Serve with National Tomato Ketchup or National Chilli Garlic Sauce!
