Usually serve with Daal in summer with chapati and rice


  • 1/2 kg Ridge gourd (Turrai)
  • 3 to 4 tbsp oil
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 1tbsp cumin
  • 4 to 5 curry leaves
  • 2 sliced tomatoes
  • Small piece of raw mango
  • 1.5 tbsp National Chatkharaydar Sabzi Mix
  • National salt to taste
  • 1 sliced green chili
  • Coriander for garnish


  • Add oil in a pan then add slices of onion then sauté it then add cumin and curry leaves
  • Now add slices of tomatoes and ridge gourd (turrai) then and small pieces of raw mango and simmer for 10 mins
  • Then broil for 5 mins, add National Chatkharaydar Sabzi Mix and National Salt and let it cook until done
  • Then add chopped coriander and sliced green chili and serve
