Spicy Qeema Pulao

Yesss its a very famous dish in dawat.



  • Mint and coriander leaves handful
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Green chilies 4
  • Oil half cup
  • Onions 2 sliced
  • Tomatoes sliced 3
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Minced beef 500 g
  • Turmeric half tsp
  • National Chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Salt half tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Mint leaves
  • Green chilies
  • Lemon slices 2
  • Rice par boiled with salt half kg


  • In a blender add mint leaves, coriander, green chilies and yogurt. Blend well and set aside
  • Heat oil in a pot and add all spices and mix, add onions and fry until brown
  • Add sliced tomatoes and cook
  • Add ginger garlic paste and mix well. Add yogurt and green mixture and cook
  • Add minced meat and fry until it changes colour, then add salt, National Chilli Powder, turmeric and coriander powder. Cook for 10 mins
  • Now for layers:
  • Add mint leaves, green chilies, lemon slices, then add a layer of boiled rice. Cover and cook for 10 - 15 mins on low flame
  • Spicy Qeema Pulao is ready to serve with mint raita and salad
