Ingredients:

  • Milk 3 cups
  • National Corn flour 1 tbsp
  • Sugar 4 tbsp
  • Pink food colour 2 drops
  • Vanilla essence 2 drops
  • National jelly 1 pk
  • Sabudana half cup
  • Basil seeds 1 tbsp

Directions

  • Boil 1-litre water and add sabudana.
  • Cook for 10 minutes, strain it and set aside.
  • In half a cup of water add basil seeds.
  • In a pan add 1.5 cups of water and bring it to a boil.
  • Add National jelly and cook for 2 minutes.
  • In a pan add milk and bring it to a boil.
  • Add sugar and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add pink food colour and vanilla essence and mix.
  • In a bowl take 2 tbsp water and National corn flour and mix well.
  • Add the cornflour mix to the milk and cook for 4 minutes.
  • Let it cool.
  • Add sabudana, basil seeds and jelly.
  • Sharbat e Gulistan is ready to be served!
