Red Beans Curry

  • 500gm beans washed and soaked in water
  • Two sliced medium onions
  • One tablespoon of National Ginger and Garlic Paste
  • One finely chopped tomato
  • One tablespoon of National Salt
  • One teaspoon of National Turmeric Powder and National Red Chili Powder
  • Fresh coriander.
  • 1/4 cup of cooking oil
  • 4-6 cups water water


  • Take a big pan and add one sliced onion, tomato, salt, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, and turmeric powder.
  • Add water and let this cook until nearly all water dry on medium heat with a covered lid and the beans are soft.
  • Add oil and cook it until oil gets separated.
  • Add 1 cup of water and make a gravy. Cook further 10 minutes on low heat.
  • Now add coriander leaves and serve with boiled rice.
