Mumbai Masala Sandwich

Munching made easy! With a touch of flavors from across the border, enjoy a delicious mid-day snack, the Mumbai Masala Sandwich prepared using National Shami Kabab Recipe Mix by Alishba Mubashir

I Made It


  • 3 boiled potatoes
  • Oil
  • 1tsp garlic paste
  • 1tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2tsp National Turmeric Powder
  • 1tsp National Red Chilli powder
  • 1/2tsp National Chat Masala
  • 1tsp National Shami Kabab Recipe mix
  • National Salt to taste
  • Chopped coriander
  • Bread slices
  • Green chutney
  • Onions
  • Capsicum
  • National Mayonnaise
  • National Chilli garlic sauce
  • National vinegar


  • In a pan, add some oil, cumin seeds and garlic paste. Mix well.
  • Now add in the mashed potatoes followed by the spices i.e National turmeric powder, National red chilli powder, National chat masala, National shami kabab recipe mix and National salt.
  • Mix and cook for a minute.
  • Lastly, add in a hand full of chopped coriander, mix again and set it aside.
  • Now for the assembling, take 2 bread slices, put some green chutney and spread it.
  • On top of this, put some onions and aloo masala.
  • To make a special sauce, mix mayonnaise, National chilli garlic sauce and vinegar together.
  • Now spread it onto the aloo masala and then put the capsicum.
  • Toast the sandwich from both sides and it’s good to go.
  • Cut into half and serve!
