I Made It

For biscuit base

  • Caramelized Biscuit                            1 packet/ 108g
  • Melted Butter                                     100 g

For custard

  • Milk                                                     750g
  • National Vanilla Custard                     ½ cup
  • Sugar                                                   1 cup

For caramel Sauce

  • Sugar                           300g
  • Butter                          80g
  • Cream                         80g
  • Milk                             80g

Directions

  • Finley crush the caramelized biscuits and add melted butter. Mix well.
  • Make half inch layer using biscuit mixture and cool in the refrigerator
  • In a saucepan add milk, (reserving 1 cup for later use) and bring to a full boil
  • In a bowl mix reserved milk and whisk in National Vanilla Custard and add to boiling milk.
  • To this add sugar and cook on medium low heat till thickens.
  • Pour over biscuit layer and chill in the refrigerator
  • In a heavy bottom saucepan melt sugar till medium amber color.
  • To this, add butter, cream, and milk. Whisk well.
  • Immediately place under cold water bath to avoid sauce from burning and cool on room temperature.
  • Pour a layer over prepared custard and chill before serving.
