For biscuit base
Caramelized Biscuit 1 packet/ 108g
Melted Butter 100 g
For custard
Milk 750g
National Vanilla Custard ½ cup
Sugar 1 cup
For caramel Sauce
Sugar 300g
Butter 80g
Cream 80g
Milk 80g
Directions
Finley crush the caramelized biscuits and add melted butter. Mix well.
Make half inch layer using biscuit mixture and cool in the refrigerator
In a saucepan add milk, (reserving 1 cup for later use) and bring to a full boil
In a bowl mix reserved milk and whisk in National Vanilla Custard and add to boiling milk.
To this add sugar and cook on medium low heat till thickens.
Pour over biscuit layer and chill in the refrigerator
In a heavy bottom saucepan melt sugar till medium amber color.
To this, add butter, cream, and milk. Whisk well.
Immediately place under cold water bath to avoid sauce from burning and cool on room temperature.
Pour a layer over prepared custard and chill before serving.
