Quick & Easy Beef Pulao

Ingredients:

  • Beef 1 kg
  • Onion 2 slice
  • Ginger Julienne 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper 20
  • Cloves 10
  • Cinnamon 2 inch piece
  • Black cardamom 2
  • Small cardamom 2
  • Garlic 1 pod
  • Salt 1 tsp heaped
  • Anise seeds 3 tbsp
  • Coriander whole 4 tbsp
  • Water 8 cups
  • Oil ¾ cup
  • Rice 750 gm soaked

Spices

  • Black cardamom 2
  • Cinnamon 1 inch stick
  • National Garam Masala Powder 1tsp
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp heaped
  • National Red Chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Zeera powder 1tsp
  • Green Chilli ground 1 tsp heaped
  • Brown onion ¾ cup
  • Salt 1 ½ tsp
  • Yogurt 1 cup heaped

Directions

  • Make a spice bag with 2 onion slices, Ginger julienne 1 tbsp, Black pepper 20, 10, Cinnamon 2 inch piece, Black cardamom 2,
  • Small cardamom 2, Garlic 1 pod, Salt 1 tsp heaped, Anise seeds 3 tbsp, Coriander whole 4 tbsp
  • Add in a pan with beef and 8 cups of water, cook till beef nearly done and 4 cups stock left
  • Heat oil add all spices with ginger garlic paste, fry well by add water gradually then add all the seasoning with brown onion and yogurt, fry well, add boiled beef, cover and cook for 10 minutes, then add left over stock, when stock boiling add soaked rice
  • cook on medium flame for 10 minutes then lower heat, cook for 15 minutes till done.
