Mutton Paye

Ingredients:

  • Paye – as required
  • National Paya Recipe Mix 1 packet
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • National Chilli Powder 1 tbsp
  • National Salt 1 tbsp
  • National Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
  • National Coriander Powder 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • National Garam Masala Powder 1 tsp
  • Onion 1
  • Oil 1 cup

Directions

  • Put oil and onions inside a pressure cooker.
  • Once the onions soften, add your paye. Start stirring it regularly.
  • As it fries along with the onions, add ginger garlic paste.
  • Add all the spices while you keep sauteing the mixture.
  • Mix your National Paya Masala Mix with yogurt and pour over the paye.
  • Stir well until the oil rises and then add 6 glasses of water.
  • Let it cook for 25 minutes in the pressure cooker.
  • Let the steam out and add 2 more cups of water to make the gravy.
  • Cook on low flame for 5 minutes to get it boiling.
  • Garnish with coriander and serve.
