Moong Masoor Daal

  • Moong daal 1/2 cup
  • Masoor daal 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • National Chilli powder 1tsp
  • Red chilli flakes 1tsp
  • Turmeric 1tsp
  • Oil 1cup
  • Crushed garlic 3/4pcs
  • Cumin 1tsp
  • Green chilli 1/2
  • Chat masala 1tsp


  • Take a deep pan and add daal, salt, National Chilli powder, chilli flakes along with 1 ½ cup of water and cook it until it gets fully done
  • Take a frying pan and add oil, crushed garlic, cumin and green chilies
  • Add this in the daal when it turns brown
  • Serve with chapaati, National Crushed Pickle and salad
