Masala Aloo

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes medium 4
  • Tomatoes large 2 medium 3
  • National salt to taste
  • National Red Chilli powder 1tsp
  • National Cumin seeds 1tsp
  • National Turmeric powder 1/2tsp
  • Green chilies 3
  • National Kasuri methi 1tbsp
  • Fresh coriander
  • Oil 1/2 cup

Directions

  • In a pan add oil and heat it.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and saute them for a few minutes.
  • Add chopped green chilies, National Salt, National Red Chilli powder, National Turmeric powder, National Cumin seeds, and National Kasuri methi and mix it well while cooking for a few minutes.
  • Add chopped potatoes and 1 cup of water, cover it and cook on low flame until potatoes are done.
  • On high flame dry water add green chilies and fresh coriander.
  • Cover for 2 minutes then serve hot.
