Deghi Mutton Korma

Ingredients:

  • Mutton 1 kg
  • Onions 4
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Ginger – for garnishing 2 tbsp
  • National Salt
  • National Coriander Powder
  • Garam masala – whole 1 tbsp
  • National Garam Masala Powder 1/2 tsp
  • National Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
  • National Chilli Powder 1 tsp
  • Water 1/2 liter
  • Paprika powder 1 tbsp
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Nutmeg & mace powder 1/4 tsp
  • Yogurt 2 1/2 cup

Directions

  • Pour oil into a pan and fry your onions until they turn golden-brown and crispy. Take out the onions when done.
  • In the leftover oil, add ginger garlic paste, salt, red chilli powder, paprika, turmeric powder, and coriander powder.
  • Stir the mixture well and add mutton. Stir it again then add water whilst keeping it on low flame till the meat gets tender.
  • Add crushed fry onions and yogurt.
  • Finally, add chopped ginger and Nutmeg & mace powder.
  • Your Deghi Mutton Korma is ready to serve.
