Crispy Chicken Burger

  • Chicken breast piece 2
  • Soy sauce 1tbsp
  • Hot sauce 1tbsp
  • Ginger powder 1/2 tsp
  • Garlic powder 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • National Chilli powder 1tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1tsp
  • Oregano leaves 1/4tsp
  • Butter milk 1/3cup
  • Chicken powder 1tsp

For coating:

  • Flour 2.5 cups
  • Corn flour 4tbsp
  • National Chilli powder 1tsp
  • White pepper powder 1/4 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1/2tsp
  • Salt 1tsp
  • Garlic powder 1/2 tsp
  • Oil for frying
  • Ice cold water
  • Burger buns 4
  • Mayonnaise
  • Ketchup
  • Lettuce leaves


  • Add milk and 1 tsp vinegar in a bowl. Leave it for 5-10 minutes
  • In a bowl, add chicken pieces, butter milk and all marination ingredients. Mix and cover, leave it for 1-2 hours
  • Combine the coating ingredients in a bowl
  • Take ice cold water in a separate bowl
  • Take one chicken piece out of the marination at a time, put it into the flour mixture then dip in ice cold water and again in the dry mixture
  • Repeat the same process for all the chicken and set aside
  • Heat oil in a wok for deep frying on medium to low flame
  • Add chicken and fry it for 6 to 8 minutes or until desired colour is achieved
  • Spread mayonnaise and ketchup on burger buns, place lettuce leaves and crispy fried chicken pieces
