Chicken Kofta Curry

Ingredients:

For kofta:

  • Chicken breast half kg
  • Onion 1
  • National Ginger garlic 1tsp
  • National Red chili powder 1tsp
  • Green chilies 4-5
  • Gram flour 2tsp(roasted)
  • National Salt 1tsp
  • Yogurt 2tsp
  • Coriander leaves half a bunch
  • Mint leaves a half bunch
  • Chop all the above ingredients and make a small kofta with the help of oil and refrigerate till the gravy is prepared.

For gravy:

  • Oil 1 cup
  • Onion 3 medium
  • National Ginger garlic paste 1tsp
  • National Red Chili powder 1.1/2tsp
  • Coriander powder 3tsp
  • National Turmeric powder 1tsp
  • Cardamom black 2
  • Cinnamon 2 pieces of half inch
  • Cloves 4 to 5
  • Black pepper 1tsp
  • Green cardamom 2
  • Yogurt 250gm
  • National Salt to taste

Directions

  • Take a pan and pour oil into it.
  • Give a nice brown color to the onions, crush & keep aside.
  • Add National ginger garlic paste and fry it a little bit.
  • Now add all the masala into it. (add half a cup of water to it)
  • Mix till the oil separates.
  • Add yogurt & mix again.
  • Now add brown onion (crushed).
  • When the gravy is done add koftas n 1/2cup water in it.
  • Now stir the pan slowly.
  • It's ready when oil is separated.
  • And serve!
