Chicken Kachori

  • Chicken 400gm
  • onion 100 gm chopped
  • National red chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • National salt to taste
  • National garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • ginger/garlic paste 1tsp
  • green chilies 4 chopped
  • green coriander 2 tsp chopped

For dough:

  • Flour(maida) 500 gm
  • oil 50 gm
  • National salt 1/2 tsp
  • Butter 150gm
    * do not use margarine.


    For mixture:

  • Boil chicken with salt.
  • In a pan, heat the oil, add chicken and fry it with ginger garlic paste.
  • When chicken changes color, add onion, and all the spices and cook on low heat and shred it.
    • For dough:

  • Knead the flour with water and make dough.
  • Add oil and salt and knead well. Make sure the dough must be soft but not sticky.
  • Leave it for 10-15 minutes.
  • Make 9-10 small balls, roll them, spread butter then fold them like balls, and keep in the fridge for 15 minutes.
  • Roll the folded balls and spread the chicken mixture in it, fold it and fry in preheated oil on very low heat.
  • Kachori is ready. Serve it with National Ketchup and Mayo!
