For Tart Base
Sieve all the dry ingredients
Beat butter and sugar till creamy and sugar dissolves. Add in yolks and essence and beat again.
Add dry ingredients and beat until combine. Use your hands to knead the dough a little. Add 1 or 2tbsp more flour if dough gets sticky.
Divide dough and bake in greased tart pans for 15 to 20 minutes at 160 degrees until the edges turn light golden in color. Let them cool completely.
Strawberry Creamy Custard
Boil milk with sugar.
Dissolve custard powder in 1/4th cup milk.
Add in milk and stir well.
Cook for 2 minutes then turn off the flame.
Let it cool for 10 minutes then add cream and stir.
Let it cool for more 10 minutes then pour in tart shells.
Decorate with edible cherry blossom trees and enjoy
