Brinjal Fritters

Recipe Cusine:



  • 2 brinjals (thinly sliced)
  • 100 grams baisan
  • 1tsp National Red Chilli Powder
  • 1tsp roasted cumin
  • 1tsp roasted and crushed Corriender seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required
  • Oil


  • Take a bowl add all purpose flour in it then add national red chili powder, roasted cumin and Coriander, salt and pinch of baking soda
  • Gradually add water and make a thick paste then leave it for 1 hour
  • Then peel and cut slices of brinjal, add a bowl with water then add salt and mix, then soak the brinjal slices in it
  • Now coat it with all purpose flour batter and deep fry until done on medium flame
