Aloo Samosa

For dough:

  • Flour 1.5 cup
  • Ghee 2tbsp
  • Salt 1/2tsp
  • Water for kneading a dough

For Aloo masala:

  • Potatoes boiled & mashed 3
  • Green chili 2 chopped
  • Fresh coriander chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • National Chili powder 1tsp
  • Chat masala 1tsp
  • Cumin seeds roasted 1tsp


For Dough:
  • Add salt and ghee in flour, mix with fingers and gradually add water and knead smooth, cover it and let it rest for 15 minutes
  • For Samosa:
  • Add all ingredients in potatoes and mix well
  • Now sprinkle flour and roll the dough, cut in round with cutter
  • Add masala at center of dough. Apply some water on sides and cover with second round, cut the dough and seal it well
  • Now mark the cut with a knife, join the cut to make a petal as shown in picture
  • Deep fry it on medium to low flame until golden brown and serve with chutney
