Al-Rehman Biryani

Ingredients:

  • Chicken – cut into 12 pieces 1kg
  • Potatoes – cut in halves 4
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • National Chilli Powder 1 tsp
  • National Salt as per taste
  • Cumin and coriander seeds – Roasted and crushed 1tbsp
  • National Garam Masala powder 1/4 tsp
  • National Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Chicken powder 1 tbsp
  • National Biryani Masala 4 tbsp
  • Yogurt 3 tbsp
  • Brown Onions 1 cup
  • Tomatoes – cut in pieces 3
  • Green Chillies 3
  • Plums 8
  • Coriander leaves – roughly chopped 1/2 bunch
  • Yellow food coloring 1 tsp
  • Rice 4 cups
  • National Chat Masala

Directions

  • Marinate chicken with ginger garlic paste, National Red Chilli Powder, roasted and crushed cumin and coriander seeds, National Salt, National Garam Masala Powder, National Turmeric Powder, chicken powder and National Biryani Recipe Mix
  • In a pan, add oil and marinated chicken and fry until the chicken changes its color
  • Then, add 2 big glasses of water and cook till chicken and potatoes are tender
  • Add fried onions, coriander leaves, green chillies, tomatoes and plums. Sprinkle with National Chat Masala and yellow food color
  • Top with boiled rice. Cover and cook on high flame for 10-15 minutes
  • Let it steam cook for 5-10 minutes. Your Biryani is ready to serve!
