Achari Dosa

  • 1 large boiled potato
  • 2 tbs boiled Chickpeas
  • 2 tbs oil
  • 1/4 mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 4 to 6 curry leaves
  • 1 tsp tamarind pulp
  • 1/4tsp National Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 tsp National Red Chilli Powder
  • National salt to taste
  • Water as per required
  • Ingredients for dosa
  • 1/2 cup Mash daal ,soaked overnight
  • National salt to taste
  • 3 green chillies
  • 1 inch ginger piece
  • 3 large garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp crushed red chilli
  • 2 tbs rice flour
  • 1.5 tbs National Achaar Gosht Masala
  • 2 boiled and mashed potatoes
  • National Chat Masala as per taste



  • 1st step
  • In a pan add oil ,heat it ..add in cumin, mustard seeds and curry leaves... fry until seeds pop then divide the boiled potato into halves
  • mashed the half then cut into cubes to other half potato... add potatoes and boiled Chickpeas in the pan add water and all remaining ingredients
  • cook on low flame until smooth and become thick consistency .. turn off the flame and keep aside
  • 2nd step
  • In a blenders add all ingredients (except potatoes, achaar gosht masala and chaat masala) with little water to make smooth mixture... it should be in  mild runny consistency ... mix boiled mashed potatoes with achaar gosht masala
  • Now take a nonstick flat pan
  • Drizzle some oil and pour batter and spread evenly into thin layer .... cook on low to medium flame ..while raw texture go ..drizzle some oil .... now sprinkle some chat masala then spread 1 to 2 tbs boiled potato mixture
  • Cook until dosa will be crispy from roll it .. enjoy with tarkari achaar and onion tomato salsa .... sprinkle some more chaat masala on top
  • With this quantity you can make 6 to 8 medium dosas
