Achaari Channa Curry

Ingredients:

  • National crushed pickle 2 tbsp
  • Black channa 1 kg
  • Water as required
  • National Salt to taste
  • National Red Chilli powder to taste
  • Onion 2 medium
  • Tomato 2 medium
  • Green chilies 4-5
  • Oil as required
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp

Directions

  • Add oil to a pan.
  • Saute onion until it becomes golden brown.
  • Add tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, and spices.
  • Add national crushed pickle 2 tbsp.
  • Cook for 5-7 minutes and add this masala to the pressure cooker.
  • Add black channa and 1-liter water.
  • On the cooker and let it cook until it gets tender.
  • Open the pressure cooker and dish out black channa.
  • Serve with white rice.
