Chicken tikka sandwitch

Ingredients:

  • Chicken cut into stripes 250g
  • Yogurt (whisked) 2 tbsp
  • Paprika powder ½ tsp
  • National Tikka Masala 1 & ½ tbsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste ½ tbsp
  • National Salt ½ tsp or to taste
  • Cooking oil 2-3 tbsp
  • Egg 1
  • National Black pepper (crushed) to taste
  • Cooking oil 1 tbsp
  • Bread slices large
  • Butter
  • National Mayonnaise
  • National Ketchup
  • Lettuce
  • Cucumber slices.

Directions

  • In a bowl, add chicken, yoghurt, paprika powder, National tikka masala, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, and National salt and mix well.
  • In a frying pan, add cooking oil, and marinated chicken and cook on medium flame until chicken is tender (approx. 8-10 minutes) then cook on high flame until it dries up.
  • In a bowl, add egg, sprinkle salt, and black pepper crushed and whisk well.
  • In a frying pan, add cooking oil and fry whisked egg from both sides (1-2 minutes) and set aside.
  • Cut the sides of large bread slices with the help of a knife.
  • Grease cast iron grill pan with butter and toast bread slices from both sides.
  • Now place three toasted bread slices on a clean working surface.
  • Spread mayonnaise and tomato ketchup, place lettuce leaves, cucumber, prepared omelette, and cheese slices and place another bread slice on top.
  • Now add prepared chicken tikka filling and flip the third bread slice over it (makes 3-4).
  • Cut into desired pieces and insert a skewer.
  • Serve with coleslaw, French fries and National Ketchup.
