We make kachoris in ramzan and in monsoon season

Ingredients:

For Aloo Mixture:

  • 500 Grams Potatoes
  • 1 tsp National Chilli Powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped Green Chilies
  • 1 tsp crushed Cumin
  • ½ tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp National Chat Masala
  • National Salt to taste
  • 3 tbsp chopped Green Coriander

For Kachori:

  • 1 cup Gram Flour
  • 1 tsp National Salt
  • 1tsp Chilli Flakes
  • ½ tsp Crushed Cumin
  • Pinch of Turmeric
  • Water as required

Directions

  • Boil, peel and mash the potatoes coarsely
  • Add all the spices and coriander, mix and make round balls
  • Meanwhile add chili flakes, salt, cumin and turmeric in gram flour
  • Make medium consistency batter by adding water. Mix till the lumps are dissolved
  • Dip potato balls into gram flour mixture and coat. Deep fry in medium hot oil till golden brown
  • Serve with National Ketchup
