Achari Chicken Biryani

Ingredients:

  • Chicken boneless 1/2 kg
  • Rice 2 cups
  • Potatoes (cut into small cubes) 3
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 1tbsp
  • National Crushed Pickle 2tsp
  • Pinch of food colour
  • Half packet National Biryani Masala
  • Salt 1/2tsp
  • National Chilli Powder 1/2tsp
  • National Turmeric Powder 1/4tsp
  • National Coriander Powder 2tsp
  • Tomatoes roughly chopped 2
  • Brown onion 1 cup
  • Plums 12
  • Coriander leaves 1 bunch
  • Green chillies chopped 2
  • National Chat Masala 1tsp

Directions

  • Boil rice with salt and keep aside
  • Heat oil and fry ginger garlic paste, add chicken boneless, potatoes, National Biryani Masala, salt, National Chilli powder, National Turmeric powder, National Coriander powder and 1 cup water
  • Cover and cook till chicken and potatoes are done
  • Add tomato slices, green chilies, brown onion, coriander leaves, plums, National Chat Masala and National Crushed Pickle
  • Top with boiled rice and cover
  • Cook for five to ten minutes and serve
