Lobia Masala

Ingredients:

  • Onion sliced 2 medium
  • Tomatoes sliced 3 medium
  • Oil ½ Cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbs
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 & ½ tsp
  • Garam masala powder ½ tsp
  • National Salt 1 tsp or to taste
  • National Red chili powder ½ tbs
  • Lobia 1 & ½ Cups (boiled with salt)
  • National crushed pickle 1tbs
  • Green chilis 2-3

Directions

  • In pot, add oil, onion and fry until golden brown.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, tomatoes, mix well and cook until tomatoes are soft.
  • Add turmeric powder, cumin seeds, national crushed pickle, salt and red chili powder, mix well and cook for 5minutes.
  • Add lobia and mix well.
  • Add green chilies and garam masala powder, cover and put it on simmer for 2-3 minutes.
